Family Fun At The Chelsea Night Market

September 9th, 2019 by

Cooler weather is in the air! We all know that the upcoming months are some of the best out of the whole year to be outside! There’s a chance for you to live that up and experience the magic that is also in the air when you come out to the Chelsea Night Market! Locals know how special these nights are, and visitors will love the unique scenes and finds.

There will be SO MANY things going on! Food and craft vendors will fill the streets, but that’s far from all. Live music, family activities, performances of many kinds, and so many other things will be taking place. This is the perfect night out for you and your other half, or for the whole entire family.

Come hungry! Available food vendors include Pollo Campero, Chung Wah, and Tawakal Halal Cuisine. Come ready to shop! Available product and craft vendors include C&C Artisan Olive Oil, Matt Frank Photography, Beaded Inspiration, CBenjamin Art, Amor y Risas, Origami by Arts & Crafts, YESHUA, Bead + Fiber, All She Wrote Books, and Holly Cow.

For family fun, there will be activity booths set up from Chelsea artist Trippylandia, Chelsea Public Library, Appalachian Mountain Club, and the City of Chelsea Tree Board.

When and Where?
The market happens once per month from June to October. This month’s market is on September 21, so mark your calendar and make sure to come check it out! Luther Place is the place to be, on Cherry Street, Chelsea MA between Fourth and Fifth Streets.

If for some reason the weather were to get a little crazy, the market would just be postponed until the following Saturday. The show must go on!

We all know how beneficial shopping and dining local can be not only for the economy but for the morale of the whole city. Shopping at the night market will not only provide you with the opportunity to eat some amazing food and shop some amazing gifts, BUT you’ll be supporting someone else who lives in your same city, and that’s pretty awesome. Come check it out and see for yourself; the city comes alive at the night market!
